Dra. Mónica Maria Saldarriaga Córdoba

Médica Veterinaria de la Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia. Magister en Ciencias Biomédicas, línea inmunotoxinología, de la Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia. Doctora en Ciencias, mención Ecología y Biología Evolutiva de la Universidad de Chile. Actualmente, se desempeña como académica e investigadora de la Escuela de Medicina Veterinaria y adscrita al Centro de investigación en Recursos Naturales y Sustentabilidad (CIRENYS). Ha participado como Investigadora Principal y Co-Investigadora en Fondecyt Regular y en FONDEF IDeA I+D.

INVESTIGACIÓN

Sus líneas de investigación son la Genómica de patógenos y estandarización de técnicas de diagnóstico molecular. Exploración de Biomoléculas Terapéuticas mediante Proteogenómica Aplicada. Además, Procesos Evolutivos y Filogenia Comparativa en diferentes grupos taxonómicos.
